What
experienced hunters say about Kenny Morgan's original calls, book
& videos:
"If compelled to carry one call, it would be my favorite: The
Morgan. I have had more success with it than any other. But I
am excited about Ken's new friction call. It is easy to run and
makes unbelievable tones."
John McDaniel
The Turkey Hunters Book, 1980
Spring Turkey Hunting, The Serious Hunter's Guide, 1986
"I just
had to write and tell you how excited I am about the upcoming
turkey season and your Frictionwood
Caller. I currently have over 30 calls, but the Frictionwood
is the only one that sends chills up my spine every time I use it.
I haven't shown it to any of my hunting partners yet and don't
intend to until after the season starts. I can't wait to hear
their comments the first time they hear me using it!"
Don Horning
Wellsboro, PA
"I can
say that absolutely no other call reproduces the gobble of a wild
turkey as well as The
Morgan Call, nor is any as versatile with other turkey sounds.
Of all my calls, it is my favorite."
J. Brent Harrel
Certified Wildlife Biologist
3 Time Louisiana State Turkey Calling Champion

"Kenny
Morgan's name is likely familiar to anyone deeply steeped in the
literature and lore of turkey hunting. His book, Turkey
Hunting: A One Man Game, is a minor classic that many herald
as being among the finest treatments of the sport's spirit."
Jim Casada,
Outdoor Writer
From "Guns and Loads for Gobblers"
Guns&Gear Magazine, April 2000
"I cannot
remember when I have enjoyed reading turkey hunting stories more
or read a more informative and insightful book on turkey
hunting."
Bob Duncan
Veteran Wildlife Biologist, Virginia
“(In your videos)…you have achieved a level of
understanding of calls and their meanings that leaves many of us
who are avid and experienced in awe.”
John McDaniel,

Techniques (2000)
I
was having a very slow season when Kenny gave me one of his Beggin'
Hen scratch boxes. I mastered yelping, cutting, and Kee-Keeing in
a couple of practice sessions by watching his video. The
Kee-Kee in this caller is the most realistic of any I have heard
and the gobblers thought so too. I limited out soon after
that, and I must say that I have never used a caller that so
compels a late season Tom to gobble like this one.
