Light Striker This new innovation
makes the long-time favorite "corncob strikers"
obsolete. The material is a soft variety of the Yucca plant
that has either a hard Maple or Cherry dowel for a
peg. This striker is the most sensitive ever.
Whisper soft purrs and sharp ringing cutts and everything in
between can be created with this on any friction turkey
call. Maple pegs are half-rounded and Cherry pegs are
full-rounded.
The first Prototype in Spring
2003 was given to Jay Brown of San Antonio, TX, an avid
slate and glass collector. He reported, "I ran
this striker on 50 different turkey calls and I am here to
tell you that this Light Striker works better on every one

The
Maple Striker is made entirely
of Hard Maple, both the knob and the peg, and
constructed by fitting the ends together in balanced
dimensions so that even the beginner can run his friction
caller effectively. The Maple Turkey Call Striker is a
very sturdy and durable striker that is extremely
forgiving. Turkey hunters are well prepared by having
